Why BOLLE non-alcoholic sparkling wine is different
Most non-alcoholic sparkling wines start as ordinary wine, then strip out the alcohol, a process that strips out structure, complexity and mouthfeel along with it. The result is thin, often heavily sweetened, rarely satisfying.
BOLLE does it differently. After dealcoholization, we conduct a second fermentation, a patent-pending process that rebuilds the depth, aroma and finish that traditional dealcoholization removes. We are the only producer in the world to re-ferment dealcoholized wine. This is what allows BOLLE to taste, feel and behave like a real glass of sparkling.
In blind tastings, 95% of tasters cannot tell BOLLE is non-alcoholic. Less than 0.5% ABV, just 18 calories per 4 oz, 100% vegan, no added sugar, no artificial color or flavor.

Grand Reserve : lees-aged for 9 months
The world’s first and only lees-aged non-alcoholic wine. Aged on dead yeast cells in the traditional Champagne style for nine months after dealcoholization, the technique that creates the creamy, brioche depth in classic Champagne. Complex, structured, and distinctly different from anything else in the non-alcoholic category.

“Champagne” is a protected designation tied to the Champagne region of France, non-alcoholic sparkling wines made anywhere else cannot legally use the name. BOLLE is a non-alcoholic sparkling wine made in the traditional charmat method, with the structure and finesse you’d expect from premium Champagne.
How much alcohol does BOLLE contain?
Less than 0.5% ABV, the legal threshold for “non-alcoholic” in the US, UK, EU and most countries worldwide. Comparable to the trace amounts naturally found in ripe fruit and kombucha.

A second fermentation is then conducted after dealcoholization, rebuilding the depth, aroma and mouthfeel that are typically lost during alcohol removal.
